There are lots of great studies on how people use websites, and specific tactics to exploit them. Nir pulled them together into a framework he called the Desire Engine. He isn’t just an academic spouting theories; he’s a successful entrepreneur who’s built web businesses on these ideas and sold them.

Good Web Hosting Companies for Your Website

Finding a good web hosting company is an eternal struggle.  I’ve gathered my findings here, for the benefit of my fellow bloggers and online entrepreneurs.

I spent a long time reading reviews on WebHostingTalk.com.  That’s the best source of unbiased reviews.  WARNING: avoid web hosts that come up in Google searches like “Best web hosts” or appear on websites called “Top 10 web hosts.”  They’re almost all spam links who bribed their way to the top of those lists. Learn How to Podcast and Get More Traffic

Podcasting is a great way to connect with your audience.  Some people to prefer to listen to content rather than read it.

A nice bonus is that people can listen to audio while doing something else, like driving or working out.  Videos demand full attention, which makes it harder to multitask.
